"Homemaking is an art, and you have the privilege of expressing and developing all your talents there in a little place called home. You get to build...beautify... organize...create...fuss...express yourself. You get to read and study and grow and master nutrition, finances, horticulture, design, wardrobe, etc. And you also get to shape your children, to give their precious lives a bent toward God. To nurture their souls with the good things of God. To pass on the truth about Jesus to one more generation. And to do so means you've got to be dedicated, organized, and a woman of purpose. And you've got to have the spunk and energy to follow through on all the dedication, organization, and purpose that answering God's high calling to homemaking requires.

Jameson singing his ABC's
Jameson is learning his ABC's. Sometimes they sound much clearer than others. This is the best we got this morning from him. He is a smart boy and can count to 15 with some help! At 23 months old, I think that's pretty good. We are so proud of him.

10 Years

Matt & I will celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary on Friday, July 25th. 10 years ago on that very day in 1998 we were both 19 years old and very much in love! I am happy to report that we are still very much in love 10 years later! It has been an exciting road. We have moved around with the Air Force, weathered some storms, learned how to depend and rely on each other. We have begun raising 3 young men, and I feel like we are doing quite a nice job at that!!! 10 years has really flown by, but we have accomplished a lot in that time. We have so much more we want to do together as a family and I can't wait to experience it all with my very best friend! I have added some pictures of us through the years. We have changed some physically, but our love still remains the same.

St. Louis Cardinals

Matt and I went to the game on Sunday after church. It was a really hot day, but our seats were placed nicely in the shade so it wasn't so bad. We had a wonderful time at the game and the Cardinals were victorious so that made it even more exciting. Here are some highlights! Us on the metrolink, Ozzie Smith recieving an award, and pictures of the stadium!
